About this tool
Crop Image cuts away the parts of a picture you do not want. Drag the box freely, or lock it to a ratio such as 1:1 for profile pictures, 4:5 for Instagram or 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails. Your files are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
How to use Crop Image
- Choose an image.
- Pick a ratio and drag the crop box into place.
- Press “Crop” and download.
Questions people ask
Which ratio should I use for Instagram?
Use 1:1 for square posts and 4:5 for portrait posts. Stories and reels use 9:16.
Does cropping lower quality?
No. Cropping only removes pixels outside the box; what remains is exported at full resolution.
Can I move the crop box on a phone?
Yes. Drag the box with your finger, and drag the corner handle to resize it.
