Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This page explains how CozyToolz uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way but the data is never sent to a server automatically. Both let a site remember things between visits.
Essential storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| cz-theme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
| cz-* tool data | Local storage | Saves your notes, to-do list or invoice draft in tools that offer saving | Until you clear it |
This storage stays on your device. We cannot read it and it is not used for tracking.
Cloudflare
Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to protect the site from bots. It does not identify you.
Advertising and analytics cookies
When advertising is enabled, partners such as Google AdSense may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud and measure performance. If you have consented, they may also personalise ads based on your interests. Common Google advertising cookies include IDE, __gads, __gpi and DSID. See how Google uses cookies.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland these cookies are only used after you give consent in the consent message.
How to control cookies
- Change your consent choice from the privacy settings link when it is shown.
- Turn off personalised Google ads at Google Ads Settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop our tools from working, but saved notes and settings will be lost.
