Questions people ask
Is a blurred area safe from being reversed?
A strong blur or large pixel blocks remove the detail from the saved file, since the original pixels are not kept. Light blur on large text can sometimes still be read, so use high strength or the black box for passwords, card numbers and documents.
Which is better for hiding information: blur, pixelate or black box?
A black box is the only option that removes every trace. Pixelate with big blocks is a good middle ground for faces. Blur looks the most natural but needs a high strength to hide small text.
Can I blur several areas in one go?
Yes. Drag as many boxes as you need. Use Undo area to remove the last one, or Clear areas to start again.
