About this tool

Image Resizer changes the width and height of a picture. Enter exact pixels for a form or profile photo, or scale by percentage. The aspect ratio lock keeps your image from looking stretched. Your files are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

How to use Image Resizer

  1. Choose an image.
  2. Enter new width or height (the other side updates automatically) or pick a percentage.
  3. Choose the output format and download.

Questions people ask

Will resizing make my image blurry?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much larger than the original can look soft, because new pixels have to be guessed.

How do I resize for a passport or form photo?

Turn off the ratio lock and type the exact width and height the form asks for, such as 200 × 230 pixels.

Can I resize many images at once?

This version resizes one image at a time. Batch resizing is coming soon.
