Why convert SVG to PNG at 2× or more?
Phones and high-density screens show 2 to 3 device pixels per CSS pixel. A 100 px icon exported at 1× looks soft on them; at 2× or 3× it stays crisp.
Why is my text in the wrong font?
If the SVG uses a font by name instead of outlines, it is drawn with whatever font your device has. Convert text to paths in your design tool before exporting the SVG.
Why are images inside my SVG missing?
For security, browsers do not load external files linked from an SVG drawn as an image. Embed pictures in the SVG as data URIs before converting.
