Questions people ask

What size should I use for Reels, Shorts and TikTok?

1080×1920 pixels (9:16). For an Instagram feed post use 1080×1080 (1:1) or 1080×1350 (4:5).

What is the difference between crop and black bars?

“Crop to fill” scales the video until it covers the frame and cuts off the edges. “Fit with black bars” shows the whole video and fills the gaps with black.

Why are odd sizes rounded?

Most video encoders need even widths and heights, so a value like 721 is rounded to 722.
