Questions people ask

What does it remove?

Comments, line breaks, indentation, spaces around { } : ; , and the last semicolon in each block.

Does it merge rules or shorten colours?

No. It is a safe whitespace and comment minifier. It does not rewrite values, so the output always behaves the same.

Why keep /*! comments?

Comments starting with /*! usually hold licence text that must stay in the file.
