About this tool
N-up PDF places several pages on each sheet: 2 side by side on landscape paper or 4 in a 2 × 2 grid. It is useful for printing slides, notes and booklets with less paper. Pages are embedded as vectors, so text stays sharp. Your files are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
How to use N-up PDF
- Choose the PDF.
- Pick 2 or 4 pages per sheet, the paper size, gap and borders.
- Press “Create n-up PDF” and download.
Questions people ask
How much paper does it save?
2-up halves the number of sheets and 4-up cuts it to a quarter. A 40-slide deck prints on 20 sheets at 2-up or 10 sheets at 4-up, and half that again with double-sided printing.
Will text be readable at 4-up?
Each page is scaled to about 50% of its width on A4. Slides and large text read fine; dense 10 pt documents get small, so 2-up is better for those.
Is the quality reduced?
No. Pages are placed as vector content, not images, so text stays selectable and prints crisply at any size.
