About this tool

Invisible Character gives you blank Unicode characters that look like nothing but still count as text. Use them for an empty-looking name in a game or a blank message, or to add a gap where spaces are trimmed.

How to use Invisible Character

  1. Pick a blank character.
  2. Click it to copy, or copy several at once.
  3. Paste it where you need it.

Questions people ask

Which invisible character works for blank names?

The Hangul filler (U+3164) is the most widely accepted for game and app names. If an app rejects it, try the Braille blank (U+2800).

What is a zero-width space?

U+200B has no width at all. It marks a place where a line may break without showing a space.

Can invisible characters cause problems?

Yes. In code, passwords, URLs or spreadsheet data they cause hard-to-find errors. Use our Text Cleaner to remove them.
