What are the rules for YouTube chapters?

The first timestamp must be 0:00, there must be at least 3 timestamps in increasing order, and each chapter must be at least 10 seconds long.

How long can a YouTube description be?

5,000 characters. Only the first 100 to 150 show before “more”, so put the main point and key link there.

Which characters are not allowed?

YouTube rejects descriptions that contain the < or > characters.
