  2. Resize or zoom the window to watch values update.
  3. Share or note the numbers you need.

Questions people ask

Why is the screen size smaller than my monitor’s resolution?

Browsers report CSS pixels. With 150% display scaling, a 2560×1440 monitor reports 1707×960. Multiply by the device pixel ratio to get physical pixels.

What is device pixel ratio?

It is the number of physical pixels per CSS pixel. Most phones have 2 or 3; a standard desktop monitor has 1.

What is the viewport?

The viewport is the visible area of the web page inside the browser window, which media queries in CSS respond to.
