Questions people ask
How many square feet are in a square metre?
1 m² = 10.7639 ft². To go the other way, multiply square feet by 0.092903.
How big is an acre?
One acre is 43,560 ft², or about 4,046.86 m². A hectare is 10,000 m², about 2.471 acres.
Why can I not just multiply by 3.28?
That factor is for length. For area you square it: 3.28084² ≈ 10.7639.
